Serenbe: A Flower-Filled Escape

Some projects feel like a breath of fresh air from the moment they begin, and this one was exactly that. Nestled in the heart of Serenbe, surrounded by open skies and rows of blooms, we had the absolute joy of helping a longtime client bring her vision for a flower studio to life.

This wasn’t just any workspace. It’s a dreamy, light-filled retreat where creativity blossoms just as freely as the flowers outside. The studio sits at the edge of the garden, with oversized windows that frame the lush landscape like artwork. Whether you're arranging stems from the field or simply sipping something cold at the round table, you can’t help but feel connected to the land here.

The cabinetry—painted in a soft buttery yellow—offers both charm and function, with discreet fridge drawers and clever storage tucked behind paneled fronts. Floating shelves keep tools and treasures within reach, while mirrored pantry doors bounce the sunlight around and make the space feel even more expansive.

One of our favorite touches? The subtle blue patterned wall tile near the beverage station, paired with art, books, and personal finds that reflect our client’s love for gatherings and beauty.

But the magic isn’t just indoors. Just outside the doors, stone paths lead you through a charming garden, past a rustic shed that looks straight out of a storybook. It’s the kind of setting that invites you to slow down—clip a few blooms, pour a glass of wine, and linger.

For our client, this studio is more than a place to work. It’s a space to host friends, celebrate life’s little moments, and create something beautiful. And for us, it was a reminder of what thoughtful design can do when it’s rooted in joy and intention.
